Research
Q: Where can I find information on my country's policy on _____________?
A: So here is what every single website/person on the planet will tell you: nowhere. That is, unless you're prepared to contact the embassy, in which case you can do so through this site: Foreign Consulate Contact Info. But this is a lengthy, sometimes fruitless process. You will most likely have to look at the demographics and geography of your assigned country and make an inference (poverty levels, religious make-up, and positions of powerful neighbors can be strong indicators of policy). The CIA World Factbook is a great place to find this info.
Conference Day
Q: I'm a new delegate. What should I wear to conference?
A: There is no set dress code for MUN, and no one is going to scoff at you if you're not wearing a knee-length skirt or suit-and-tie combo. The only advice I can give you is to dress conservatively and comfortably.
